The main idea of the Cluster of municipalities St. Mary’s Garden (COM MG) development is to strengthen the relationship to the place where people live, to realize personal roots, rehabilitation of the respect to the environment, active life attitude. At present the interest is in exploitation of the historical spiritual and physical potential for social and economical development of municipalities, in preservation of the baroque composition as space communication between residencies and landscape in the sense of mutual accommodation of natural, agricultural, building and traffic components, in improvement and highlighting of the image of municipalities.
Long-term development strategy was elaborated where possibilities are searched to create conditions for well-contended life of inhabitants of the small region. The important indicator of the dissatisfaction of countryside inhabitants generally, not only in the COM MG, is the fact that young people do not return to the village they were born in after finishing their education, but that they look for life in cities or in foreign countries. The Cluster of municipalities wants to employ current possibility of utilizing resources from European funds and use them to solve the whole complex of problems, such as new employment opportunities, infrastructure quality, comfortable housing, adequate education, pleasant environment and the general image of the peculiar region.
